About This Place

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Brooklyn at 518 Metropolitan Ave, Kellogg’s Diner is a standout destination for those craving classic American diner fare with a creative modern twist. This dynamic spot seamlessly blends the warmth and nostalgia of a traditional diner with a contemporary, stylish vibe that appeals to families, couples, and solo diners alike.

The menu at Kellogg’s Diner reads like a celebration of hearty, comforting dishes elevated with bold flavors and fresh ingredients. You’ll find iconic all-day breakfast staples like the rich and velvety Eggs Benedict, the indulgent Chicken & Waffles drizzled with honey butter, and fluffy Texas French Toast. For those craving something a bit more adventurous, the Guajillo Short Rib Hash delivers complex, smoky undertones that make each bite unforgettable. The savory Enchiladas Suizas carry a tangy creaminess that beautifully complements the more classic sides, such as creamy Mac & Cheese or the crispy, cheesy Mozzarella Sticks.

Guests also rave about the playful yet satisfying Flat Nachos and the vibrant Veggie Burger, perfect for those seeking vegetarian options without sacrificing flavor. And don’t miss the dessert selection—decadent treats like the nostalgic Strawberry Pretzel Salad and the refreshing, tropical Passionfruit Pie provide a perfect sweet ending. Pair your meal with a thick, luscious Milkshake or a refreshing glass from their curated white wine list, featuring selections like the crisp and floral Maison Lispaul Sancerre 2023.

Beyond the food, Kellogg’s Diner offers a polished yet inviting atmosphere that feels surprisingly fresh for a diner. Refined renovations have kept the space clean and contemporary without losing any of the welcoming comfort that diners are loved for. The space hums with an easy-going energy, enhanced by a playlist of classic rock favorites—think “Crazy Train” and “Bohemian Rhapsody”—making it feel like a neighborhood gathering spot with character and soul.

Reviews highlight the impeccable service as much as the dishes themselves. From attentive, friendly staff to the warm welcome by team members like Albert, who’s known to greet guests with a genuine smile, the experience is as much about care as it is about taste. Several customers recount late-night visits that turned into unexpected delight, underscoring Kellogg’s status as a perfect spot for a midnight bite or a leisurely weekend brunch. The fact that it’s open 24 hours makes it an invaluable refuge for post-nightlife recovery or a relaxed morning feast.

Ultimately, Kellogg’s Diner stands out as more than just a restaurant—it’s a Brooklyn institution that masterfully balances the classic and the contemporary. Every dish is crafted with thoughtful flair, the atmosphere is warm and engaging, and the service feels personal and sincere. Whether you're stopping by for a hearty breakfast, a casual dinner, or a spirited late-night snack, Kellogg’s delivers an authentic and memorable American diner experience that leaves you craving your next visit.

Some friends and I came in around 4:30am give or take on a Monday night after trying to hit another diner that was closed but it was a blessing in disguise. When we walked in we were greeted by what i believed to be the security guard named Albert and he opened the door for us with a smile and amazing service! Then the well dressed clean cut host walked us to our table where we then ordered the food with our waitress who seemed a little shy but was still amazing! The food was so good even at super late hours I ordered the huevos rancheros and they were genuinely so good ! Attached is a photo but it is blurry due it being a screenshot. My friends also enjoyed their meals and milkshakes ! I want to add that the bathroom was freshly cleaned when I went with multiple brand new toilet paper rolls. The overall vibe of the place was so good everyone was super kind , the food was delicious , the place was clean and the food came out fast ! Thank you Kellogg diner I’ll be back !!

They hit me on the spot. They serve good food as a diner, the server was kind and friendly, prices were reasonable. Chill vibes for families, couples and solo visitors. Shrimp & grits might not be best of the best but good enough with big and fresh shrimps on it. Taste was flavorful but not too intense. ice cream sandwich was fire! Rich chocolate with crunchy hazelnut around. Highly recommende!!

This was such a great move. I got the masa pancakes and they were delicious. my girlfriend got two eggs (scrambled) and they were also top notch. bonus was they give you my favorite hot sauce! (valentina) i was delighted they played some of my favorite classic rock songs like crazy train, creep, and bohemian rhapsody. i mean cmon how awesome is that. they also gave us free little cups of orange juice. this place initially felt over priced but i guess thats just the times. plus its new york so i mean isnt everything expensive here? the only negative thing is the syrup bottles. as you can see from my attached video they drip down the side of the bottle when you open it so you have to watch out because its a little unpredictable. but isnt life unpredictable sometimes? i know mine is. the waiter was incredibly nice. amazing service.

Growing up in this area I’ve spent years going to this diner, my family and I spent so much time here. Going into my 20s I also learn it’s a great spot to end your Friday/Saturday night, seeing as they’re 24 hours, I’d also recommend it for a Sunday recovery after a long weekend. They’ve made so many changes over the years and there recent renovations bring a new aesthetic but still staying true to their original vibe. It’s a neighborhood go to and I genuinely love it here.

Really enjoyed my experience at Kellogg’s Diner. Delicious and simple Tex Mex inspired diner fare at good prices. I think their reviews carried over from before the renovation, as the restaurant was packed and every plate we got was delicious. Recommend for a good bite In Williamsburg. The migas was delicious, same with the short rib hash.
